Discover the fullness of who you really are

Society’s script for men states that happiness and fulfillment are to be found in the realm of work – climbing the corporate ladder. This script ties your worth in the world to your salary and job status. The women’s movement has created a side-effect for men. As rigid roles and expectations begin to fall away for women, so they are beginning to dissolve for men too. Men are discovering that they are much more than they have been led to believe!

Ask Yourself:

  • Do you feel an emptiness inside? Does it gnaw at you in those quiet moments when you’re alone with yourself?

  • Did you think that if only you got THAT job, or THAT salary, or THAT house, or THAT wife, or THAT family, that it would go away?

  • Have you achieved all of those things but still feel the emptiness?

  • Are you running out of things to fill the void?

At some point in their lives, young men are encouraged to disconnect from a part of themselves and throw it into a dark corner of their mind.  But what if the rejected part is the one that holds the key to success, peace and contentment.  I would assert that indeed it is! We all – men and women – have a Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine aspect to our psyche and almost all of us are out of balance towards the masculine.  Finding fulfillment and peace requires us to once again find balance within ourselves.

The REAL you – your authentic self – exists underneath the layers of expectations and conditioning you received from society.  When you reconnect with your authentic self you can create a life filled with peace, success, fulfillment and contentment.

I assure you that peace, happiness and fulfillment are within your reach. You, as the architect of your life, can join the ranks of the many men who are taking off the straitjacket that has been constraining men for thousands of years. You can discover the joy, happiness and fulfillment that comes from discovering and becoming fully who you are.

A human being is part of a whole, called by us “universe,” a part limited in time and space.  He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest – a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.  This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.  Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
— Albert Einstein
